How could I miss this opportunity? The finals begins tonight. I will give my commentary throughout the series. Very Heat biased. So much less than the national media which despises (is jealous of) the Heat. Many story lines for this series.
Let's start with the prediction. Heat in 6!!! Heat will win games 1-2. Lose game 3 in Dallas. Win game 4 in Dallas. Lose game 5 in Dallas and win at home in 6. There it is. Take it to Vegas!
I am pulling for Mike Miller whose daughter Jaelyn just came home from the hospital after being born and in the ICU for a little time. Mike even wore pink shoelaces one of the Bulls game and Pat Riley told him he would pay ANY fine levied on him by the NBA.
UD. LBJ. DWade. CBosh. M33M! This is the year!
And to think??? This will probably be one of the worst teams the Heat has for the next 5-6 years!
Go Heat!
What do you have to say?
Take a survey. Respond to a post. Let's make this an incredible journey throughout the HEAT season.

Tough week for the Heat
Two losses this week to two experienced teams. That is what it comes down to right now. Teams and systems that have been together for years and years versus a team that has played 9 games together. This will be a tough road but come January/February, when things are clicking, you watch out. Championships are not won and lost in November. This team has too much talent. Where they start in the playoffs will not matter. As long as they are holding the trophy in the end is all that matters.
Pat Riley says judge them after 20 games. We are not even half way there!

New Radio home for the Heat
Congrats to 790theticket for becoming the new flagship station of the Miami Heat today. It's a great station with wonderful hosts who will do a great job covering the Heat this year and beyond. Check out 790theticket.com to follow the station.
Pat Riley indicated in an interview today that they will wait 20-25 games to assess the roster but they are not opposed to making moves to make improvements.
Heat face two top point guards this week in Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo. Let's see if Coach Spo can figure out a plan to cover these guys so they don't go off on double digit assists.

So what have we learned so far???
Well...1) You definitely win games in the NBA by playing defense. The Heat have not allowed an opponent to score over 100 points so far this year.
2) Don't foul LeBron with a flagrant. Just makes him madder. Be forewarned.
3) DWade is getting back in to NBA form real quickly. He also has that big smile back on his face when he was enjoying the games. Watch out NBA if he stays happy.
4) Don't get LeBron mad - nuff said.
5) One can only imagine what this team will look like when Mike Miller returns in January.
6) Did I mention about getting LeBron mad??? Just curious
7) Elite point guards will give them trouble. Rondo 17 assist. CP3 19 assist.
Here are the next 5 games and their point guard potential:
Utah - Deron Williams. Top point guard which could lead to trouble.
Boston - Rondo again
Toronto - Not sure I can name 5 players on the entire team.
Phoenix - Steve Nash - no comment
Charlotte - Should be no problem.
Tune in to find out where they end up after the next 5 games.

Dunks-a-lot
If you ever wanted to put together a highlight reel of amazing dunks, you can start with the game tonight. Lebron in the open court. LeBron behind the back to Wade. And then and open court alley-oop that had the entire city shaking.
But better than that was the high body slam between Wade and LeBron. You can just see the excitement in both of their faces after that. Keep the cameras rolling as I think there are going to be a lot more highlight dunks like the ones tonight.
Also..don't piss LeBron off with flagrant fouls. 8 points in 32 seconds. You asked for it.
Tuesday night versus Utah and then the big early rematch versus Boston on Thursday.
Go Heat.

You win some you lose some
Tough loss to New Orleans tonight. You can't win every game and losing definitely builds character. New Orleans played a great game. The kind of game they needed to play to beat this team.
Double Double for LeBron and Wade. Defense holds to under 100 again. No team has gone over 100 points as of yet. New Jersey is next then the first big rematch with Boston on Thursday.
Go Heat.

The Big Easy
Sounds like the Heat season so far. Big and Easy! Onto New Orleans for a Friday Night game vs. CP3. It's going to be a pick and roll night defensively for the Heat. Chris Paul creates alot of offense but everyone forgets that the Heat's offense is pretty good as well.
Back-to-back after that with New Jersey visiting the Arena on Saturday Night then the Jazz come to town.
Looks like another set of 3 victories. When will they lose again??? Maybe never!
