MMMMM, MMMMMM, Good!

We are 1 week until opening night.  Roster cuts...Where is D-Wade...League Envy... All good questions.  But here is something MORE important.  New food items at the American Airlines Arena!!!!!

First there was an article about Glatt Kosher Food now being served.  That is food fit for the more religious Jews who might attend games.  A nice touch.

Then....this from the Sun-Sentinel.  More Gourmet foods at games including:
Veggie burger ($8): The (on the dry side) patties are made with brown rice, beets and other veggies, and are topped with cheddar and spicy barbecue sauce. Served on a rustic whole wheat bun.

Asian wraps ($10): These generous wraps start with a scallion pancake that's closer to a French crepe. Filling choices include coconut marinated chicken, tofu and eggplant marinated in Asian barbecue sauce, or pork belly braised in Asian broth.

Chicken empanada ($10): Flaky pastries are stuffed with sweet barbecue and served with plantain chips and mint lime cream dipping sauce. "Next year I'm going to do a foie gras empanada," joked Chopin.

Rojo taco ($10): Filled with either chipotle marinated beef, ancho chile marinated chicken or citrus braised pork shoulder, they are guaranteed to fill you up.

Burritos ($12): Fans of Chipotle Mexican Grill will love these flour tortillas wrapped around either beef, chicken or pork along with pinto beans, pico de gallo and white rice.

Asian noodles ($12): Spicy Thai Chicken or BlazinBeef lo mein noodles are served in Chinese take-out containers with disposable chopsticks on the side.

It's not just about the Basketball anymore.  It's about our tummies!!!
